UK firms enjoy strong position in European software industry

The UK retains a strong presence on the European software stage, according to a PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) report.
PwC has ranked the top European software companies, and British firms make up 15% of the top 100, based on worldwide revenue. With worldwide revenue of €13.3bn, these UK companies created significantly more wealth than their Western European counterparts, said PWC.
